Architectural Movement
Weekly Classes with Noah Julian

Using maps devised from Katonah Yoga® and tools from a variety of body-weight movement traditions, we will build a foundation through isolating static holds and repetitive work on specific transitions, developing a deep awareness of body mechanics.
For the advanced practitioner and new student alike, we will create situations that allow each practitioner to take a deeper look at subtleties of their individual body.

Wednesdays @ 6pm

Sundays @ 8:30am

Weekly Classes with Elliott Gittelsohn & Kaitlin Frady

This mixed-level handstand class supports students in building and progressing their handstand practice in a joyful and encouraging community environment!

Beginning students can expect to focus on the fundamentals of handstand entrances and body positioning, while more experienced students will be supported in training more complex shapes and presses while continuing to develop form and stamina...and we'll all condition together!

This is a 90-minute class, with a thorough warm-up, stretch breaks, and group conditioning activities integrated into each class.

Small Group Strength Training
Weekly Classes with Noah Julian

Beginning with a 30-45 minute full body warm up, students will progress toward a 30-45 minute functional strength training session. Each session will focus on 1-2 full-body functional movements (e.g. rows + push-ups; pull-ups/chin-ups + deadlifts or squats), and will close with accessory exercises to support more complex lifts, as well as recovery techniques (breathing, stretching and general nervous system regulation).

Unlike many traditional "bootcamp" style group fitness classes, this class is focused on developing the requisite body awareness, stability, and form to support a sustainable progressive strength training practice.  Students can expect to receive individualized attention and cuing, and as well as guidance for practicing and progressing their strength training work outside of class.

Saturdays @ 9am
Sundays @ 10am

Zebra Strong
(a.k.a. Hypermobility Happy Hour)
Weekly Classes with Kaitlin Frady

Medical students are commonly taught that "when you hear hoofbeats, don't expect to see a zebra."  In other words, look for the most common issues (the "horses").  Folks with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders, and other related chronic issues often identify as "zebras", as our needs are often overlooked and poorly understood by the medical and wellness communities.

Zebra Strong is geared toward the unique needs of folks managing joint hypermobility and related issues, but zebras of all stripes are welcome!

This small group class focuses on developing a solid foundation of functional stability, balance, and body awareness, then progressing to more complex strength and power skills. Together, we'll tackle challenging movements with a focus on form, body awareness...and a healthy sense of humor.

This is a sliding-scale class ($15-$40), with payment accepted via card, cash, or Venmo.  To prepay online, please select your appropriate payment tier as an "add-on" on the class registration page.

If you are a first-time student, please register online.

Sundays @ 4:30pm (starting in April!)
Thursdays @ 10am
